Our professional educators train students in the subject matter of hair, skin, makeup, and nail services. This program exceeds Missouri State requirements, while preparing students to sit for the state exam.

Our passionate team of educators will develop your professional skills while teaching you about today’s salon business. We aim to give each student the foundational knowledge they need to earn a beautiful living doing what they love to do. You can expect to start with learning the core fundamentals in the classroom. This soon moves into theory and workshop classes, then practical training on the Student Salon Floor. Our students work with guests from the community under the direct supervision of our licensed, professional educators. Students also benefit from support and interaction with other students in our programs. As part of our program, students receive instruction for personal development, professional development, business basics, and something we call “Over the Top Training,” which is exclusive to Summit Salon Academies. We also offer Beauty as a Business (BAAB) as a course, which teaches social media marketing, an important concept for any professional cosmetologist. We believe that by learning and training together, with the mission of making a positive difference in the world through our talents and skills, makes for an amazing teaching environment.
