The esthetics program is 750 hours, which can be completed in as few as 22 weeks for full-time students and 33 weeks for part-time students. We offer this program to full-time and part-time students. There are several start dates throughout the year, which means students can begin as soon as they are ready!

CIDESCO diplomas are recognized worldwide, which means students who have earned this diploma can go on to work as an esthetician in other countries! It also gives our students who earn a degree from SSAKC a leg up when interviewing in the competitive Kansas City market.

We train our students to develop their own personal skills in the area of skin care as well as professional skills, giving them an edge when it comes to entering the professional beauty industry after completing our course. Some of the careers students may be ready for include facialist, masseuse, make-up artist, spa owner, spa products representative, or spa manager. If they take and pass the CIDESCO exam, they will be certified to work internationally.

Absolutely. Hands-on experience in the Student Spa area is a key aspect of our training. Guests from the community can book an appointment to receive a number of different spa treatments, which students perform under the direct supervision of our professional instructors.
